💪 Empower volunteering with Learn Handball

A recent survey conducted for the Danish Sports Confederation (DIF) and DGI* revealed changes in volunteering in sport. Danes' general view of volunteering remains positive, but there is a growing need for sport to adapt. These changes will affect how handball clubs are run and how volunteers can contribute.

Floor coaches play a key role in helping your club adapt to changes in volunteering.

* Danske Gymnastik- og Idrætsforeninger (DGI) is a Danish association of sports clubs. It comprises 5,000 local sports clubs and 1.3 million athletes. Unlike the Danish Sports Confederation (DIF), DGI has a much greater focus on grassroots sports, and has traditionally had gymnastics as its main sport. Gradually, however, other sports, such as badminton, football, handball and swimming, have also grown to become a significant part of DGI's activities (Wikipedia).
